Hotel Droog: An Extraordinary Amsterdam Stay with Just One Room

It’s tough to call a place with just one room a hotel, but that’s what makes Hotel Droog so unique. This quirky “hotel” is located at 7 B Staalstraat in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and is set to open on Sunday, September 16th.

Hotel Droog aims to be much more than just a place to stay. You can enjoy a drink, take a stroll through the garden, do some shopping, or read a book in its inviting spaces. Despite having 700 square meters of space in a large building, it offers only one room. This singular room is quite special, featuring a bedroom, living area, and kitchen on the top floor with stunning views of the city rooftops. The pricing details haven’t been confirmed yet, but the ground-floor public restaurant is already welcoming guests.

Situated near one of Amsterdam’s charming canal bridges, Hotel Droog is just a short walk from Waterloo Square, famous for its flea market and accessible public transport options, including the metro, tram, and bus services.
