Ideal Accommodations in Normandy: Château Lez Eaux, a Premier 5-Star Campsite in Mont Saint-Michel Bay

The holiday village is situated between two notable spots in northern France: the city of pirates, St. Malò, and the famous Mont St. Michel abbey. Open from March to mid-September, Château Lez Eaux features a water park with indoor pools and a fishing pond in front of an old castle. You have several accommodation options for your stay in Normandy. There are chalets that can sleep 4 or 5 people, with some even offering private hot tubs on the terrace. For larger families, there are mobile homes with 2 or 3 bedrooms. If you prefer camping, there are pitches available for tents and caravans, some of which come with electricity, internet, and a fridge. Unique to the village are the tree houses – Dam’Oiseaux and Butterfly – which have terraces where you can enjoy breakfast that’s delivered by a basket pulley system. These tree houses are perched 4 to 6 meters high, offering a panoramic view of the countryside and a unique experience.

Château Lez Eaux means “castle near the water.” It was built in 1750, but it wasn’t until 226 years later that the first guest houses and the camping area were established.
