Immersing Yourself in eBooks During Train Journeys

I love reading and traveling by train. Since train journeys can be long, I prefer to immerse myself in a book rather than just staring out the window. However, lugging around thick books like The Da Vinci Code started to become a hassle, so I decided to try an e-reader. Back then, I couldn’t afford a top-of-the-line model, so I opted for a cheaper version. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a poor investment. The screen quality was subpar, the storage was limited, and the battery would die every three hours.
Realizing I had enough of the substandard device, I saved up some money and bought a better e-reader that even played audio files. The next day, I found myself enjoying my favorite songs while reading my favorite book. From that moment, I was hooked.
Now, two years later, traveling by train is still my favorite pastime, and my e-reader is my constant companion. There are so many options available today; you name it, you can find it. Some e-readers even support e-books, movies, photos and can store up to 32 GB! Imagine carrying a vast library right in the palm of your hand.
