The Best Spots for a Drink in London: BrewDog Bar in Vibrant Camden Town

We’ve talked about London quite a few times on this blog, and we’ve often highlighted how amazing and vibrant Camden Town is. The only snag is that if you’re coming from a European country, finding accommodation in London can be tricky because there aren’t many hotels in the Camden area. One option is to book a place outside the city and use the underground to get around. But will you stop for a drink if there’s something nearby?
During my recent trip to London, I went on a real pub crawl, exploring some fantastic spots for real English ale. Camden has several must-visit places, starting with Camden Brewery. However, I want to particularly mention BrewDog, the renowned Scottish brewery that has opened a bar right in London.
The vibe at BrewDog is casual, well-kept, and stylish—typical of BrewDog’s charm. They offer a range of draft beers, and you can also buy bottles to either drink there or take home. Some bottles from guest breweries are available too. Behind the counter, you’ll see the famous “stuffed squirrel” with a bottle of beer inside and a neat display of brewery labels. The seating is spread across the entrance floor and a lower underground level, but you won’t have trouble finding a place to sit since many people just grab a beer to go.
The prices are reasonable, and even if you’re a big fan of this brewery like I am, you’ll find it more economical to sample all their beers at their bar than buying them elsewhere in Europe or online. I tried a variety of beers and was really pleased with the selection.
Getting to the pub is easy. It’s located about 100 meters from the underground, right at the corner of Bayham Street and Greenland Street.
