Sitting off the eastern coast of Sicily, you’ll find the Egadi Islands, a beautiful archipelago. The main island, Favignana, is especially famous for its stunning marble quarries, beaches, and coves. The beaches here are among the most picturesque in the entire region. The serene and crystal-clear sea, paired with the rocky limestone landscape, creates unforgettable ranges of colors.<\/p>\n

Just a short 20-minute ride from the port of Trapani, you can visit three bays where the sea looks just like a swimming pool. These spots offer the perfect vantage points to take in the various shades of turquoise and blue that surround Favignana. The large limestone platforms here act like natural sea terraces with mesmerizing hues.<\/p>\n

Another highlight on Favignana Island is a natural pool formed by a flat, gently sloping bedrock. This area provides excellent conditions for swimming in the calm, clear waters.<\/p>\n

One of the island\u2019s top attractions is Cala Rossa, a rocky cove that used to be a marble quarry. It now boasts one of the most beautiful natural pools in the Mediterranean.
