Information you choose to provide

If you email us, we receive your sender address, name and the details you choose to include. We use this information to assess and respond to your enquiry, correct content or consider a proposed partnership. Do not include payment card details, passport scans, medical information or other sensitive documents in a message.

Consent to handling an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not operate a newsletter signup or a user account system.

Security and technical information

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. Hosting and network security systems may process IP addresses, request times, browser information and related connection data to deliver content and address abuse.

The contact form prepares an email draft locally in your browser and does not submit those fields to the website. If you send the draft from your email app, your email provider and the recipient mailbox process the message. Essential hosting security measures may operate independently of this site's application code.

Storage, access and retention

Messages you send are received in our editorial email inbox. We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, handle a continuing enquiry or meet an applicable legal obligation. You may request deletion by emailing the editors.

We do not publish private correspondence. No internet service can promise absolute security. Our email and hosting providers may process data outside your home country as part of their services.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

With your explicit permission, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand page visits and broad provider-link clicks. Google scripts load only after you select Allow analytics. External travel providers

Provider links open external sites. Their privacy policies, cookies and payment practices apply once you visit them. Tourstreak does not receive your booking payment information or manage your reservation. The Breeze eSIM, Woven Woven, Zonky and Trivago AU guides use Awin affiliate links. Opening that link sends your browser to Awin and then the merchant. These external services may process IP and device information, click details and cookies to attribute an eligible purchase, referral or clickout. Their own policies and cookie choices apply; Tourstreak does not install an Awin pixel or marketing cookie on this site. Awin privacy information is available at https://www.awin.com/gb/privacy. Selected travel guides include identified Klook affiliate links generated through Travelpayouts, including activity products and destination hotel collections. Opening a Klook affiliate link connects your browser with the external link service and Klook, whose own privacy and attribution practices apply. Each article uses a non-personal content label for aggregate attribution. We do not add a Travelpayouts or Klook marketing script to this site. Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction or deletion of a contact message via the Contact page. State the email address used and the approximate submission date. We may need enough information to verify a request before disclosing or removing records. Rights can vary according to applicable law.

The website is intended for general travel readers and is not designed to collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can assess and remove it where appropriate.
