Is this suitable for a baby or toddler?
No. Woven Woven’s current FAQ excludes children under 3 and requires that a child can lift and remove the blanket independently. The American Academy of Pediatrics advises against weighted blankets for infants. Ask your child’s clinician whether a weighted blanket is appropriate before choosing one.
How do I choose the weight?
Do not select a blanket from age or color alone. Ask a qualified clinician about suitability, then compare the exact product’s weight and dimensions with the child’s needs. Being able to remove it independently is essential. A percentage rule is not a safety guarantee.
Can I take one on a family trip?
