Hotel Tresor | A Unique Hostel Experience in Ljubljana’s Historic Bank Building

Today, let’s talk about a unique spot to stay overnight if you’re looking for something completely original and memorable. Located at Čopova Ul 38, the hostel called Tresor opened last year on March 1st in what used to be a bank.
Tresor is a prime example of transforming a formal, gray banking space into an energetic and international hub. The building, showcasing Tresor Secession-style architecture from the early 1900s, offers a stark contrast to its previous financial atmosphere.
Rooms at the hostel are accessed via card, pendant, or bracelet. With 104 beds spread across 29 rooms, each named after world currencies, the experience is quite unique. Prices for these “sleepers” range from 25 to 35 euros per night, and double rooms can also be booked for single occupancy.
Situated in the heart of Ljubljana, at Čopova ulica 38, Tresor is just steps away from Prešeren Square, the Triple Bridge, Zmajski Most, and Ljubljana Castle. Pets aren’t allowed, but you’ll enjoy free WiFi, coin-operated laundry, luggage storage, and air conditioning.
