Netherlands | A Season of Global Artistry in Utrecht

From June to September, Utrecht will host “Call of the Mall,” an international art exhibition held at Central Station and the Hoog Catharijne shopping center. This event will take place from June 20th to September 22nd in the Dutch city, showcasing the work of 25 artists from around the world. You can view these artworks throughout the summer in various locations like corridors, walls, and even rooftops.
At Hoog Catharijne and Utrecht Central Station, new pieces by over 25 artists will be displayed in corridors, on walls, and even on rooftops, turning the area into a vibrant display of creativity. The exhibition uses Hoog Catharijne as a time capsule and pressure cooker, reflecting major changes in the outside world. It’s organized by the Foundation for Art in the station area in partnership with the Municipality of Utrecht.
This artistic event is a fantastic reason to visit Utrecht, the Netherlands’ oldest university town, rich in history and attractions. The exhibition spaces will be open on Mondays from 12 PM to 6 PM, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 AM to 6 PM, Thursdays from 10 AM to 9 PM, and Sundays from 12 PM to 5 PM.
